After-School All-Stars (ASAS) provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life.
Our vision is for our All-Stars to be safe and healthy, to graduate high school and go to college, to find careers they love and then give back to their communities.
Need for Afterschool Programs
After-school programs keep kids safe, improve academic performance, promote student well-being, and help communities. The out-of-school hours provide a uniquely creative time in the field of public education. ASAS Ohio: How We Make it Work
Each day, ASAS Ohio provides free, high quality after-school programs for approximately 750 low-income students in Columbus, Toledo, and Cleveland. We believe the After-School All-Stars program model is distinct in significant ways, making it an ideal partner for local schools and communities. We are resourceful in keeping our budget lean without sacrificing the quality of the programs we provide to our students. Learn more.
Who We Serve
ASAS as a national organization serves over 90,000 low-income, at-risk youth in Title One schools in 60 cities across the country – from New York to Hawaii. ASAS Ohio has serves at-risk youth in Columbus, Toledo, and Cleveland.

- 83% qualify for Free/Reduced Price Lunch
- 100% of ASAS students are in grades K-8
