Our investors are passionate about their involvement with After-School All-Stars and are making a difference in the lives of children in under resourced neighborhoods right here in Ohio. Our investors are corporations, foundations and organizations. They are governors, mayors and other public officials. Lucas County Dept of Job & Family Services
Lucas County Department of Job & Family Services:
The Lucas County relationship started in the spring of 2013. They awarded us funding through a grant to support our first schools in the Toledo area, Birmingham & Walbridge Elementary Schools. After completing two years of programming, Lucas County DOJFS was thrilled with the impact ASAS was having on the students & families in the program, that they awarded us additional funds to expand into a third school, Hawkins Elementary.
Alex Hormozi, founder & owner of Gym Launch, considers himself wildly blessed. He knows there is no such thing as a “self-made” man. He received help at every step. He was able to learn fitness because a high school teacher taught him after school everyday for free. His gyms were able to succeed because hundreds of business owners selflessly gave their time, asking for nothing in return. Alex could think of no better charity to receive his company’s first major donation, than ASAS Ohio. He is honored to facilitate the same mentorship and guidance for young All-Stars in Ohio and around the country.
