Samantha Lechner, Curriculum and Training Manager
When I found the position at After-School All-Stars for their Education Coordinator, I knew that it was a perfect position—it encompassed all of my favorite parts about teaching: working with students, creatively cultivating new curriculum to engage them at programs, and training staff to lead their classrooms and become changemakers in students’ lives.
After a year in this position, I can attest that my favorite part of my job, and I’m sure anyone on our programming staff can agree, is watching the growth of students over the course of a school year and encouraging them to become the amazing people they are meant to be!
