After-School All-Stars Ohio provides free, comprehensive, out-of-school programs that help children in underserved communities. Children receive academic support, mentorship, health & fitness activities, and transformative opportunities that will keep them safe and help them succeed in school and in life.
Our vision is for our All-Stars to be safe and healthy, to graduate high school, find careers they love, and then give back to their communities.

Caring Youth-Adult Relationships
We provide a network of caring adults so students are more motivated to succeed academically and more likely to gain access to opportunities that will support their growth.
Physical & Emotional Safety
We provide a physically and emotionally safe and supportive environment so young brains can learn well.
Community & Family Engagement
We build leadership, and support problem-solving and decision-making skills, creating a sense of belonging and purpose for our youth. We develop meaningful relationships with families, attending to the well-being of the entire family and as a result, improving youth learning and development.
Student Voice & Choice
We give students a voice, increasing their engagement in their own learning, and empowering them to become self-directed learners who can explore their unique passions.
Intentional Skill Developments
We provide opportunities for youth to grow and develop outside of school, preparing them for further academics and careers that will help them succeed.

We provide support with homework, promoting completion, student efforts, positive behavior, and taking initiative.
